Northstar Judgment Recovery is dedicated to helping you collect your money. We work on a future paid contract with absolutely no out of pocket expenses to you. Northstar will cover all costs related to the collection of your judgment. This includes court fees, garnishee fees, subpoena fees, process service costs, skip tracing, and attorney fees.

Once a case has been assigned to us, we have access to databases to locate the debtor’s social security number, address history, credit reports and bankruptcy history. Court records and social media sites are also available for us to try and locate the debtor. Northstar also contracts with national skip trace companies that specialize in locating places of employment and bank account information.

 

Once a week their Social Security number is run through 22 different  Nationwide databases searching for a current place of employment.
Many Judgment debtors are judgment proof, and nothing can be  collected. Protected funds such as Social Security and disability cannot be garnished. Other debtors file for bankruptcy to avoid paying the debt, and although we cannot collect it while they are in bankruptcy, we monitor the status of their case. If their case is dismissed, we will resume the collection effort. We will do our best to recover your  judgment.
